Hello AMAI Family!

In this blog series, we will post reminders of what the students worked on during the previous week. This gives you or your child ideas for how to practice at home between classes. If you need extra help on any movements or sections of the form, talk to your instructor about adding a Virtual Membership onto your current membership to unlock videos that break down every section of your form and every technique!

Lil' Dragons:  Lil' Dragons students warmed up with animal walks. They focused on the techniques Cranes Beak in a Cat Stance and Crane Stance. To help with the Crane Stance students can challenge their parents to a crane stance competition to see who can hold their crane stance for the longest time! Keep practicing your crane form and be ready to show off your Crane Stance!

BASIC Program: Kids BASIC students warmed up with an endurance workout. They reviewed their Thread Palm and their Flash Palm. Basic students practiced their entire form start to finish. Keep working on showing off your low Drop Stances!

Teen and Adult Basic students began class with a series of endurance exercises. Students reviewed section 2 of their Five Stances form. They broke down their Snake Creeps Down and worked on dropping low into their drop stances.

Kids BBC Program: Kids BBC students started class with an endurance workout. Students reviewed sections 3+4 of their form, as well as the Self Defense for both sections. They also reviewed their Hook Kicks from section 3.
