We are open for in-person classes!
We have a limit of 15 students per class.
We observe proper social distancing & we take an additional 15 minutes between classes to disinfect.
But we also have our Zoom Room up and running to offer all of our classes virtually!

Hello AMAI Family!
In this blog series we will be posting reminders of what the students worked on the previous week. This could be helpful to make sure you know what you or your child should be working on while at home. If you need extra help on any movements or sections of the form then talk to your instructor about adding A Virtual Membership onto your current membership to unlock videos that breakdown every section of your form and every technique!

Lil' Dragons:
The Lil' Dragons started learning Snake Style for the new quarter! The techniques we worked on this past week were their "Fighting Stance" and their "Belly Flop". Help your Lil' Dragon practice at home by timing how fast they can step into their fighting stance. For the belly flop technique, they can push a pillow down in front of them to block it. Keep up the good work and don't forget to practice the form!


BASIC Program: BASIC Program students started learning the Five Stances form! They learned section 1 of the form and should practice with their best stances. "Snap Kick" and "Bow Stance Punch" were taught last week and to practice the snap kick, try holding a crane stance after each kick for 5 seconds. For the bow stance punch, focus on keeping your back leg straight for your stance.For an added challenge try to knock out 15 push-ups, 30 elbow to knee crunches, and 45 seconds of your Horse Stance!


Kids BBC Program: Last week, the Kids BBC students started learning the Ferocious Tiger form. Practice section 1 at home at least 10 times before next week! BBC students also worked on their "Tiger Claws" and "Long Arms."   For an added challenge try to knock out 20 push-ups, 30 elbow to knee crunches, 10 frog leaps, 25 Jumping Jacks and 45 seconds of your Horse Stance!


Adult/Teen BBC Program: Teen and Adult BBC students also started learning the Ferocious Tiger form. Practice tiger claws and section 1 with strong stances and powerful movements. Try practicing section 1 at home 10 times before your next class!


Weapons: Weapons students started learning Hook Swords last week and should practice combo 1 of the form. They can also practice figure eights with each hand separately over the next week!
