Hey AMAI family! Happy October! Here’s a run-down of our upcoming events as well as some reminders for current students. To start off, we are hosting a Teen Video Game Tournament this Friday, October 15th from 6:00-9:00pm. This event is for teens age 12-17 and will include Super Smash Bros, Halo, and more! The cost is $30/teen; please register in advance as we will be serving pizza. Next, we have our October Parents Night Out for ages 5-11 on Friday, October 22nd from 6:00-9:00pm. This month’s theme is Costume Party! Come dressed to impress in your favorite costume; get ready for our Costume Contest, games, challenges, and, of course, pizza! The cost is $30/child; please register in advance to secure your spot. Our next Foundation Weapon is Staff. October 30th is the last day to purchase a staff at the current rate of $25. If you have been considering starting Weapons training, staff is a great weapon to begin with. The program is only $30/month to attend one Weapons class per week on top of your regular Kung Fu class! Talk to an instructor today if you have any questions or would like to sign up for next quarter’s weapons class! Reminder: Test Week runs from November 8th-13th! Test fees for Lil Dragons, BASIC, and BBC are $25 and include the new belt for those who pass the test. Look out for the test sign-up sheets at the front desk soon.
